Paula

Office Manager

I love talking with and getting to know our patients and their families. It’s a pleasure to build long-term relationships while helping people with their dental needs. I handle our scheduling, accounts, and patient management. I also review treatment plans with patients: explaining what’s involved and why Dr. Shin recommends certain procedures. Additionally, I help our patients with their insurance paperwork and claims, and making financial arrangements.

I’m married and have two daughters. When I’m not working I enjoy time with my family, sports, Swiss heritage events, and camping trips.

Dental Hygienist

I really enjoy helping people achieve a healthy and beautiful smile. It’s important for patients to feel welcome and safe during their visits. I encourage each person to talk about their life, hobbies, and interests. This forms a bond while also giving me insight into areas where they can improve their home dental hygiene routine. While I’m cleaning teeth and performing periodontal maintenance, I talk with patients. We discuss their oral health and what they can do to keep their mouth and smile healthy and beautiful.

I’m a wife and a mother to four grown children. We’re an active family that loves sports, hiking, biking, and skiing. We also love good food, fine wine, and conversation with friends and family.

Certified Dental Assistant

I was born and raised in the PNW and can’t see living anywhere else. I graduated from the dental assisting program while attending Renton Technical College. I enjoy helping patients during their visits. My goal is to make sure they leave with a smile on their face and a feeling that our dental office is a fun place to be. Dr. Shin is a very gentle dentist who listens to his patients.

In my off time, I like to be adventurous by going camping in all seasons and hiking. I also enjoy time spent relaxing around a bonfire with family and friends.
